President's Message

I am Kirk Frye, and I have had the privilege of serving as a Parmer County Commissioner for the past 25 years. I am deeply honored to step into the role of president of the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas. It is an honor to represent and work alongside so many dedicated public servants across our great state. I look forward to standing with you as we shape the future of our counties, strengthen our communities, and ensure that local leadership continues to make a lasting difference for the people we serve.

I encourage you to stay engaged, not only in your local county work, but in the broader efforts shaping Texas. Our experience, voice and leadership matter. During this pivotal year between legislative sessions, let’s strengthen our connections with one another, our legislators and our constituents. By working together, we can ensure every county is heard and represented and continue serving the people of Texas with integrity and purpose.

Now is a great time to connect with your state representatives and senators. Since the Legislature is not in session, they are back home in their districts and more available to meet or talk. Building these relationships allows us to share how key issues impact our counties and ensures our local perspective is heard when decisions are made in Austin.

As iron sharpens iron, together we are stronger. We are truly better when we work together. I want you to know I am here for you, whether you need help, advice, or simply want to share ideas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Serving together,

Kirk Frye
